She was born Aug. 22, 1908 in Everett a daughter of the late David and Mary (Smith) Koontz. She was married to John Arthur "Kokie" Kochendarfer who preceded her in death in Nov. of 1982. She was also preceded in death by a son Robert Kochendarfer, a sister Alice Gordon. She is survived by daughter Shirley wife of Clair Wilson, Somerset; sisters: Belle Baker, Olive Clark, Betty Bollman, Evelyn Leach all of Everett; six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. She was a member of New Enterprise Church of the Brethren. Friends may call at Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Main Street, Everett on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday at the funeral chapel from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at 11 a.m, with Rev. Floyd Rinehart officiating. Burial will be held at Bedford County Memorial Park.
