  KOFFMAN
  
  John W. Koffman, 91, of Friedens RD 2 died Aug. 13, 1996 in Meadow
  View Nursing Home, Berlin.  Born Nov. 10, 1904, in Somerset
  Township.  Son of the late William and Ida (Sarver) Koffman. 
  Preceded in death by six children, three sisters and his wife,
  Margaret (Keyser) Koffman.  Survived by these children: Kenneth,
  Kittanning; John Jr., Blairsville; Robert, South Bend, Ind.; Marion
  Oaks, Cairnbrook; Margaret Baker, Boswell RD 1; Emily Coddington,
  Somerset, and Laverne Coddington, Friedens RD 2.  Also 49
  grandchildren, 83 great-grandchildren and 21
  great-great-grandchildren.  Retired coal miner.  Member of UMWA Local
  6410.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in
  the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where service will be conducted
  at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Rev. Douglas W. Baker officiating.  Interment,
  Friedens Cemetery.
