He was born March 14, 1919 in Springs, the son of the late Edwin and Elva (Gelnett) Kolb. He was preceded in death by three brothers: Merle, Blair and Donald Kolb and one sister, Mary Schrock. He is survived by his wife, Esther May (Wenger) Kolb; one son, Frederic Kolb and wife, Judy, Champaign, IL; one daughter, Nancy White and husband, Tom, Meyersdale; one sister, Bernice Schrock, Springs; and three grandsons: Matthew Kolb and wife, Andrea; Nathan Kolb and Adam White. Mr. Kolb was a member of Springs Mennonite Church where he held various positions over the years. He was a retired foreman and parts manager for Keystone Lime Co. Bob was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed playing baseball. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, MD on Saturday. Services were conducted on Sunday at Springs Mennonite Church with the Rev. Casey Rohrer officiating. Private interment was held in the Springs Cemetery.
