All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ ________________________________________________ CHARLES HARRY KOLFLESH Charles Harry Kolflesh of Salisbury, Pa., a native of Garrett County, Md., aged 58 years, died in the Somerset Community Hospital, Jan. 6, 1942. He was brought to the hospital from his home, Jan. 4th, suffering from a cerebral embolism, superinduced by a heart ailment of ten years duration. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Kolflesh, and like his father, was twice married, and was born to his father's first wife. He had seven children by his first wife, but of his first family, only three daughters survive. He is also survived by his second wife, Mrs. Irene Simpkins Kolflesh, and these children, Frances, Edgar, Harriet, Ruth and Charles, ranging in age from four weeks to six years at the time of their father's death. Funeral services were at the Funeral Home of Mortician Stanley M. Thomas, Salisbury, at 2 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 8th, and were conducted by Revs. S. D. Sigler and A. Jay Replogle. Interment in the Salisbury I.O.O.F. Cemetery, under the direction of Mortician Thomas. Meyersdale Republican, January 15, 1942
