  Dorothy V. Koontz, 84, of Latrobe died Jan. 24, 1995, at Latrobe Area
  Hospital, Latrobe.  Born Aug. 4, 1910, in Hollsopple, daughter of the
  late Jacob F. and Sydney (Shaffer) Kautz.  Married to Fred P. Koontz,
  now deceased.  Survived by sons: Dwight K. and his wife Ann Koontz of
  Latrobe; Fred A. Koontz of Connecticut.  Grandchildren: Mrs. Robert
  (Regan) Jones, Mrs. Richard (Pamela) Yuhaniak, Dwight P. Koontz, Rex
  A. Koontz, Mrs. William (Monica) Shawley, and Tracey Koontz; also 5
  great grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 5
  great-great-grandchildren.  Preceded in death by son, Richard Koontz;
  a granddaughter, Susan Koontz, and a great grandson.  Member of Prince
  of Peace Lutheran Church; Chapter 221 of O.E.S. of Latrobe; Penna.
  Assoc. of Retired State Employees; the Latrobe Golden Age Club, and
  the Daughters of America.  Prior to her retirement in 1973, she was a
  lic. prac. nurse at Somerset State Hospital.  Friends will be received
  from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the
  Hartman-Graziano Funeral Home, Inc. Latrobe.  Funeral service at 11
  a.m. Friday at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, the Rev. William E.
  Ordelt Jr. officiating.  Burial, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown. 
  Eastern Star services at 7 p.m. Thursday.  Memorial contributions may
  be made to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1325 Mission Road Latrobe,
  Pa. 15650 or American Cancer Society.
