  KOONTZ
  
  E. Grace Koontz, 80, of Stoystown, died Jan. 24, 1987, at Windber
  Hospital.  Born Aug. 7, 1906, in Blackfield, daughter of Griffith and
  Sarah (Watkins) Griffith.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, J.
  Wachter (Grinny), son, William Joseph; and brother, Llewellyn. 
  Survived by these children: Lloyd, married to former Marietta Pyle,
  Blairsville; Mrs. Donald (S. Jane) Barnett, St. Thomas; Dennis,
  married to former Clara Swope, Stoystown; and Ronald, South Fork; 13
  grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren. Sister of William, Somerset;
  Earl, married to former Eva Giffin, Stoystown; and Mrs. Warren
  (Catherine) Wheeler, Gainsville, Fla.  Member of Grace Lutheran
  Church, Stoystown.  Family received friends Sunday evening and will
  receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home,
  Stoystown, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, the Rev.
  Walter J. Emswiler.  Interment, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown.
