  KOONTZ
  
  Esther I. (Murray) Koontz, 89, of Laurel View Village, Davidsville,
  formerly of Pine Street, Davidsville, died Feb. 28, 2003 at the
  village.  Born Jan. 25, 1914, in Ferndale, daughter of Frank and Mary
  (Trexel) Murray.  Preceded in death by parents, husband Donald H.
  Koontz and daughter Sharen Koontz, who were both killed in a car
  accident Dec. 13, 1967, brothers Richard E. and Alton "Ben" Murray. 
  Survived by sister Elva Harrison, Jacksonville, Fla., nephews Richard
  L. Murray and wife Charlene, Berlin, Alan Murray, Atlanta, Ga., and
  Clay Harrison, Glendale, Calif., nieces Donna Benson and husband
  James, Mechanicsburg, and Mimi Ingram and husband Ike, Woodstock,
  Ga., and 17 great-nieces and nephews.  Graduate of Ferndale High
  School.  Long time member of the former St. James Lutheran Church,
  Jenner Township, and Laurel Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church,
  Jennerstown.  Member of St. David's Evangelical Lutheran Church,
  Davidsville.  Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at
  Hoffman Funeral Home, Route 403 and Church Road, Davidsville, where
  service will be held 1 p.m. Monday.  The Rev. Nelson F. Ilgenfritz
  officiating.  Interment St. James Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers,
  donations in Esther's name may be sent to: St. David's Lutheran
  Church, P.O. Box 427, Davidsville, 15928.
