  KOONTZ
  
  Etta M. Koontz, 70, of Jerome, died Aug. 23, at Memorial Hospital. 
  Born Feb. 15, 1919 in Berlin, daughter of Benjamine and Bessie Belle
  (Zimerman) Oakman.  Preceded in death by parents, husband Ralph E.
  who died Aug. 1, 1985 and five brothers.  Survived by these children:
  Barbara, wife of Robet Emerick, Jenners; Charles, married to the
  former Karen Stayrook, Boswell, RD 1; Ralph D. married to the former
  Joan Harman, Jerome; Lloyd R. Oakman, Youngwood, RD 1; 13
  grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.  She was a twin sister of
  Besse Johnson, Somerset; George, of Virginia and Lloyd, of Ohio.  She
  was a member of the Jerome Church of the Nazarene.  Family receiving
  friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Friday
  at George E. Mason Funeral Home, Davidsville, where service will be
  held 2 p.m. Saturday, the Rev. Peter Schaler officiating.  Interment,
  Reformed Cemetery Jennerstown.
