  KOONTZ
  
  Jack E. Koontz, 44, of 87 Cloud St., Jenner, formerly of Hollsopple
  RD 1, was dead on arrival July 21, 1979, at Somerset Community
  Hospital.  Born April 4, 1935, in Hooversville, son of Ernest "Pete"
  and Catherine (Jones) Koontz.  Preceded in death by mother and a
  sister.  Survived by father, Hollsopple RD 1; widow, the former Lila
  Peterson, and sons, Gary, David and Roger, all at home.  Brother of
  Jerald, Phoenix, Ariz.; Robert, Hollsopple RD 1; James, Bossier City,
  La.; and Donald, Middletown, Md.  Former employee of Boswell Lumber
  Co.  Friends were received Sunday and will be received from 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Joseph G. Hoffman Funeral Home, 409
  Main St., Boswell, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday with
  the Rev. Donald Steigle.  Interment, Maple Spring Cemetery.
