  KOONTZ
  
  James Edward Koontz, 79, of Friedens RD 1, died Jan. 16, 1986, at
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Feb. 10, 1906, in Johnstown, son
  of the late John Emanuel and Ida Mae (Hassinger) Koontz.  Preceded in
  death by one brother, John.  Survived by his wife, the former Mildred
  I. Kioske.  He was a retired salesman for Somerset Auto Parts,
  veteran U.S. Army, World War II, member of Listie Lutheran Church. 
  Friends received 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Hauger-Zeigler
  Funeral Home, where services will be held Monday at 10 a.m., the Rev
  James R. Ling officiating.  Interment, Grandview Cemetery. Johnstown.
