Koontz, Noah
    
  Noah Koontz, a native of Shade Township, died suddenly Jan. 25 at his home in 
Moxham. He had served with Company D 42nd ["sic 142nd"] Regiment in the Civil 
War having enlisted at Stoyestown. Mr. Koontz is survived by his wife and 
several children. He was a brother of Jacob, Joseph and Levi Koontz and Mrs. 
Susanna Gaghagen of Stoyestown, Mrs. Marie Boyer and Mrs. James Berkebile of 
Hooversville.
