  KOONTZ, Norman W. 07/21/06 Daily American
  
   Norman W. Koontz, 67, Homer City, formerly of Somerset, died on July 20, 2006, at the
  Indiana Regional Medical Center. He was a son of Norman W. Koontz and Alverta Yutzy. He
  was born Oct. 18, 1938, in Somerset. Preceded in death by parents. Surviving are sister,
  Delores Wise, Homer City, brother, Kenneth Koontz and wife Sylvia, Belchertown, Mass.,
  brother, Ray Koontz, Homer City, and many nieces and nephews. He was a member of the
  Grace United Methodist Church, Indiana. He was employed by the Indiana County Workshop.
  His hobbies included collecting hub caps and license plates. He will be fondly remembered
  for his contagious smile and warm hand shake. Friends will be received from 1 p.m. to time
  of service at 4 p.m. Saturday at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home with the Rev. Detar
  officiating. Interment will be private.
