  KOONTZ
  
  Robert W. Koontz, 50 of Rockwood, died Dec. 24, 1975 in Somerset
  Community Hospital.  He was born June 28, 1925 in Rockwood, a son of
  Howard and Mary (Ansell) Koontz.  He is survived by his mother Mrs.
  Mary Koontz of Rockwood, one son, Robert L. of Coraopolis, Pa., one
  daughter, Mrs. Nancy K. Bungard of Caroltown, Pa., one brother,
  Clifton of Johnstown, two sisters, Mrs. Doris Hoover of Erie, Pa. and
  Mrs. Phylis Butler of Fort Hill, one grandson.  He was preceded in
  death by his wife, Virginia (Weimer) Koontz on March 16, 1972 and by
  his father, Howard F. Koontz on Feb. 10, 1967.  He was a member of
  the Meyersdale Elks Lodge and a member of the Trinity United Church
  of Christ in Rockwood.  Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Friday
  and from 2-4 and from 7-9 p.m. Saturday in the William J. Wood Funeral
  Home in Rockwood where services will be conducted Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
  with the Rev. Clarence C. Moore officiating.  Interment, Rockwood
  IOOF Cemetery.
