  KOONTZ 
  
  Ronald L. "Wick" Koontz, 58, of Friedens, died Feb. 25, 1999, at Good
  Samaritan Nursing Care Center.  Born Aug. 27, 1940, in Stoystown, son
  of Robert and Marie (Johnson) Koontz.  Preceded in death by parents,
  brother, John Kenneth, and daughter, Sue Ann Shaffer.  Survived by
  his wife, the former Dorothy L. Weyant and these children: Brooke, at
  home; Brenda, married to Bruce Ohler, Rockwood; Terry, married to the
  former Janine Boyer, and Linda, married to Jerry Knopsnyder, both, of
  Stoystown; step-children: Shawn Evans, married to the former Edith
  McCusker, of Friedens; Ronald Evans, married to the former Connie
  Martin, and Kelly Bittner, both of Somerset; and Michael Evans,
  married to the former Kathy Stevanus, of Bakersville; 21
  grandchildren and a great-granddaughter; also a sister, Joyce,
  married to Lloyd Herwig, of Friedens.  Former employee of Godin Bros.
  Coal Company.  Member of the Stoystown Lions Club.  Former member of
  the Friedens Fire Company.  Family will receive friends from 2-4 and
  7-9 p.m. Saturday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service
  will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday.  Rev. William Seifert officiating. 
  Interment, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown.  Memorial contributions
  may be given to the Stoystown Lions Club, Stoystown, PA 15563.  Lions
  Club memorial service will be held at 8 p.m. Saturday.
