  Alice Edna Kooser, 79, Somerset, died April 29, 1999, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Dec. 25, 1919, in Somerset Township.  Daughter of the
  late William Clarence and Anna Grace (Landis) Mowry.  Also preceded in
  death by husband, Wilfred Burdette Kooser, who died Sept. 22, 1953;
  two sisters: Helen Adams and Evelyn Larsen, and two brothers: Donald
  Mowry and William Mowry.  Survived by these children: Mrs. Charles D.
  (Patricia Ann) Troy of Somerset, and Ronald L. Kooser, married to the
  former Karen Shaffer, Somerset; grandchildren: Mrs. Donald L.
  (Bradley Ann) Dively, Somerset; Mrs. Dean W. (Stephanie) Weaver,
  Quecreek; Kenton B. Kooser, married to the former Wendy Koontz,
  Boswell; Miss Kristi A. Kooser of Somerset; Miss Kerri A. Kooser,
  Somerset; Mrs. David (Allison Troy) Finui, Indian Lake, and Douglas
  W. Troy, married to the former Mary Ann Ditzler, Somerset.  Also
  great grandchildren: Jordon, Hunter, and Mitchell Dively; Sara
  Weaver, and Brandon Ditzler.  Sister of Mrs. Margaret Morris,
  Bedford; Mrs. Pauline Nicholson and Mrs. Doris Jean Sandusky, both of
  Somerset.  Retired in 1980 as a dietary aide at Somerset State
  Hospital after 25 years of service.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and
  7 to 9 p.m. Fridays (today) at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where
  services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Roger
  L. Forry officiating.  Interment, St. John's Cemetery.  Contributions
  may be made to Somerset Church of the Brethren, 303 S. Center Ave.,
  Somerset, PA 15501.
