Born Nov. 10, 1927 in Stonycreek Township, daughter of Lee and Elizabeth "Bertie" (Baker) Lambert. Preceded in death by parents, sons: Daniel and David, and a brother Theodore "Ted" Lambert. Survived by her husband of 51 years Thurman D., and these children: Bonnie married to William Stutzman Sr. of Friedens, Mike married to the former Leslie Stewart of Lower Burrell, and Jackie married to Walter Eppler of Cranberry Township. Also survived by daughter-in-law Marcy (Babbington) Korns of Harpers Ferry, W.Va., 11 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Sister of Pat Shaffer of Schellsburg and Ned Lambert of Stoystown. A 1945 graduate of Shanksville Stonycreek High School where she was the May Queen in 1945. Former employee of Mincorp. Member of St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church, Shanksville, and the Thursday Afternoon Bowling Fun League. She was also a 38 year member of a local card club. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mark Lutheran Church, Shanksville. Rev Robert Way officiating. Interment Lambertsville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Somerset "In touch" Hospice, or St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church.
