  KORNS
  
  Lester Harvey Korns, 89 Hyndman RD 1, died Dec. 5, 1998 at Memorial
  Hospital, Cumberland, Md.  Born Dec. 5, 1909, in Wellersburg, the son
  of the late Earl T. and Ella (Lepley) Korns.  Survived by two sons
  Pastor Ken L., and wife Carole J. Korns of Ellerslie, Md., and David
  R., and wife Becky J. Korns of Wellersburg; a sister, Lucretia
  Sturtz, also of Wellersburg; four grandchildren and three
  great-grandchildren.  In 1958, he was preceded in death by his wife,
  Gladys Grace (Troutman) Korns.  He was a farmer who bred and raised
  Belgian and quarter horses.  He was a member of Calvary Bible Church,
  Ellerslie, and the Mason-Dixon Saddle Club.  He was also an honorary
  member of the Meyersdale Chapter F.F.A.  Services will be conducted
  at the Calvary Bible Church at 11 a.m. Monday (today) with Pastor Ken
  L. Korns officiating.  Friends will be received at the church
  beginning at 10 a.m.  Interment will be in Cooks Cemetery,
  Wellersburg.
