Korns, Simon L.

  A leading and highly esteemed resident of Jenner Township, died recently from 
pneumonia, aged 75 yrs. His wife was Miss Agnes Mowry of near Somerset. To this 
union two children were born, who with the widow survives to mourn the loss of 
the deceased. They are: Mrs. M. L. Weighley and Mrs. Dr. Henry Hertzler both of 
Jenner X-Roads. He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Adam Shaffer and Mrs. 
Wm. Mauer of near Stoyestown. The funeral was held on November 2 from the United 
Brethren Church at Jenners X-Roads, the Rev. J. S. English of Stoyestown 
officiating.
