  KORNS
  
  Stella C. Korns, 92, St. Paul Homes, Greensville, Pa., formerly of
  Boswell RD 1, died Aug. 4, 1983, at the Homes.  Born Aug. 22, 1890,
  in Somerset County.  Daughter of William H. and Sarah (Stahl)
  Glessner.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Ernest E. in 1977;
  four sisters and five brothers.  Survived by two children, Dr.
  William R., married to the former Frieda L. Weyand, of Somerset, and
  Jeanne E., wife of Dr. Robert S. Clark, of Old Lyme, Conn., nine
  grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  A sister of Ruth Kates,
  Wilmington, Del., and Alvin, S., Somerset, Member of Mt. Laurel
  United Church of Christ (Beams).  Friends will be received from 2-4
  and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St.,
  Boswell, where service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday with the Rev.
  Joseph M. Beer officiating.  Interment, Beam Cemetery.
