  KORNS
  
  Woodrow J. Korns, 78, of Boswell RD 2 died Oct. 17, 1994, at his
  residence.  Born July 17, 1916, in Frostburg, Md.  Son of the late
  Dewey and Ethel (Mostoller) Korns.  Preceded in death by his wife,
  the former Betty Eileen Yoder, in 1975, and a son, James.  Survived
  by the following children: Becky Korns of Boswell RD 2; Malinda
  Whitley of Erie; Jack Korns of Windber; a granddaughter, Tonya Smith,
  who helped care for him during his illness; a stepsister, Peggy
  Thompson of Windber; 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren. 
  Brother of Thurman Korns of Stoystown and Audrey Buchanan of
  Shanksville.  World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy.  Retired coal
  worker and a certified welder and pipefitter.  Member of the VFW,
  Somerset, and Jennerstown Rod and Gun Club.  There will be cremation
  with no viewing or receiving of friends, as per his request.  Wilbur
  D. Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, has charge of arrangements.
