  KOUNTZ
  
  Walter J. Kountz, 36, of Shanksville, died March 9, 1984, at
  Presbyterian University Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born Nov. 20, 1947, in
  Independence, Mo., son of Charlotte (Walton) Kountz of Lake Worth,
  Fla.; and the late Robert Kountz, who died in 1981.  Survived by
  wife, the former Judy Fox King, whom he married on March 29, 1971,
  and these stepchildren: Richard and Jody King, both at home; Mrs.
  Matthew (Stacey) Duppstadt, Stoystown RD 3; brother of Kenneth, Lake
  Worth, Fla; and Robert of West Palm Beach, Fla.  Formerly employed by
  Interstate Trucking of Murrysville.  Member of Shanksville United
  Methodist Church and Shanksville Volunteer Fire Company, serving as
  foreman.  Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2
  to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where
  services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, the Rev. Michael L. Holt
  officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.  If friends
  desire, instead of flowers, contributions may be given to the
  Christian Concern Fund of Shanksville United Methodist Church.
