  KOVACIK
  
  Genevieve Doris (Bender) Kovacik, 64, Monessen, formerly of Berlin
  and Donora, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 1989, in Mercy Hospital,
  Pittsburgh.  Born Aug. 14, 1925, in Berlin, daughter of the late John
  and Edythe (Musser) Bender.  She resided most of her life in Berlin
  and Donora, but moved to Monessen in 1971.  A graduate of
  Berlin-Brothersvalley High School.  Also preceding her in death:
  husband John J. Kovacik on Jan. 30, 1970; sisters, Mildred Roetter,
  Eleanor Bittner and Beatrice Bender, and brother, Maynard Bender. 
  Survived by daughters, Mrs. Geraldine Dunlap, Meadville, and Karen
  Kovacik, San Francisco; sons, John J. Kovacik, Monessen, with whom
  she resided; and Douglas P. Kovacik, State College; sister, Irene
  Tressler, Boynton, and brother, John R. Bender, Berlin.  Friends
  received in Paul Macik Funeral Home, 546 Thompson Ave, Donora, Pa.,
  7-9 p.m. Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday.  A blessing service
  will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home.  Interment in St.
  Dominic Cemetery, Donora.
