  KOVACK
  
  LaVerne P. Bauman Kovack, 64, Kantner, died Jan. 15, 1985, at home. 
  Born Sept. 26, 1920, in Quemahoning Twp., a daughter of Jontz P. and
  Mary (Barnhart) Croyle.  Preceded in death by parents; first husband,
  William Bauman; three brothers and two sisters.  She is survived by
  her husband, William Kovack.  Sister of: Vernon, Kantner; Mrs. Homer
  (Mae) Dunmyer, Friedens RD 1; Mrs. Joseph (Ruby) Fetzer, Brooklyn,
  Ohio; Bonnard, Staunton, Va.; and Mrs. Harold (Elva) Miller, Somerset
  RD 6.  She was formerly employed by Ted Oaks and was a member of
  Kantner United Methodist Church.  Family will receive friends from
  7-9 p.m. Wednesday and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Deaner
  Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday
  with the Rev. J. Wesley Spahn officiating.  Interment, Odd Fellows
  Cemetery, Stoystown.
