  KOWALCZYK
  
  Matthew V. Kowalczyk, 61, of 213 Susquehanna St., Boswell, died Feb.
  29, 1976, at home.  Born May 8, 1914, in Perry, N.Y., the son of John
  and Stella (Scislowicz) Kowalczyk.  Preceded in death by parents. 
  Survived by widow, the former Thelma Emert, and a son, Matthew M.,
  married to the former Barbara Artzerounian, Youngstown, Ohio; also a
  granddaughter, Elizabeth Ann, and a grandson, Matthew E.  He was a
  brother of Walter, Irwin, Pa.; Mrs. Mary Gennuso, Brooklyn, N.Y.;
  Mrs. Josephine Saponsky, Stanley, Mrs. Ann Jarosick, Chester, John
  and Michael, all of Boswell.  Member of St. Stanislaus Catholic
  Church, Boswell, Boswell American Legion, Post 461, and Jenner Rod
  and Gun Club.  He was a veteran of World War II and a retired employe
  of PennDOT.  Friends received after 7 p.m. Monday (today) at the
  Joseph G. Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St., Boswell, where
  rosary-wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.  Mass of
  Christian burial at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Stanislaus Church.  The
  Rev. Hubert Konieczny, O.S.M. Conv., will officiate.  Interment,
  Church Cemetery.
