  Stanley A. Kowalczyk, 75, of 602 Quemahoning St., Boswell, died Jan.
  7, 1988, in Memorial Hospital, Johnstown.  Born May 25, 1912, in
  DePew, N.Y., son of John and Stephenie (Scislowicz) Kowalczyk. 
  Preceded in death by parents; sister, Josephine Saponsky; and
  brothers, Walter and Matthew.  Survived by wife, the former Thelma
  Albright; two children: Wanda, wife of William Tokar Sr., Somerset RD
  2; and Joseph, married to Mary L. (Kitty) Pugh, Boswell;
  grandchildren: Pam Tokar, wife of Mark Ickes; William Jr., and Robert
  Tokar, and Mark, David and Erin Kowalczyk; also great-grandson,
  Bradford Ickes.  Brother of: Mary Gennoso, Brooklyn, N.Y.; Ann
  Jarosick, Chester, John, and Michael, all of Boswell.  Member of St.
  Stanislaus Catholic Church, Boswell; Jenner Rod and Gun Club and
  B.V.F.D.  Past member of C.P.P.A.  Former Boswell Borough policeman
  with 17 years of service.  Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday
  at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main St., Boswell, where wake service will
  be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday.  Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m.
  Saturday at St. Stanislaus Church, Father Alfred Evanoski, O.F.M.,
  Conv. officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
