    Ferdinand G. "Ferd" Krause, 89, Berlin, died Dec.  10, 2004, at Select
  Specialty Hospital, Johnstown.  Born March 24, 1915, in Brothersvalley
  Township, son of William A. and Nellie (Smith) Krause.  Preceded in death by
  his parents; wife, Hilda (Hartman) Krause; brothers, Harry, Robert, Harold,
  Claude; sisters, Mary Altfather, Florence Wilkinson, Mae Dively and
  son-in-law, Orlo Hay.  Survived by daughter, Barbara, married to Philip
  Kerschensteiner, Somerset; grandsons, Dave, married to the former Jodie
  Haselbarth, Dennis, married to the former Sharon Suhrie, both of Berlin,
  Rick, married to the former Angie Wiley, Ranger, W.Va.;
  great-grandchildren, Becky, Amber, Aaron and Drew; a sister, Cleda
  Mosgrave, Somerset, and a brother, Blair Krause, Berlin.  He was a retired
  dairy farmer.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where a service will be held 10:30
  a.m. Tuesday.  The Rev. Ralph G. Landis officiating.  Interment, Mt. Lebanon
  Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be sent to American Cancer Society,
  Somerset Unit, 168 W. Union St., Somerset, Pa.  15501.

    Ferdinand G. "Ferd" Krause, 89, Berlin, died Friday, December 10, 2004, at
  Select Specialty Hospital, Johnstown.
    Born March 24, 1915, in Brothersvalley Township, he was a son of William
  A. and Nellie (Smith) Krause.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Hilda (Hartman) Krause;
  brothers: Harry, Robert, Harold, Claude, sisters: Mary Altfather, Florence
  Wilkinson, Mae Dively and son-in-law, Orlo Hay.
    He is survived by daughter, Barbara, married to Philip Kerschensteiner,
  Somerset; grandsons: Dave, married to the former Jodie Haselbarth, Dennis,
  married to the former Sharon Suhrie, both of Berlin; Rick, married to the
  former Angie Wiley, Ranger, W. Va.; great-grandchildren: Becky, Amber,

    He was a retired farmer.
    Family received friends Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where a
  service was held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Ralph G. Landis
  officiating.  Interment, Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
