  Jerry W. Krause, 62, of Somerset Pike, Jennerstown died May 4, 2002
  at UPMG Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born May 16, 1931 in
  Jenner Township, son of Harry G. and Alma (Kaufman) Krause.  Preceded
  in death by parents; an infant sister; and brothers James, Fred and
  Ronald.  Survived by wife of 43 years, the former Donna Holsopple;
  son Brian W. and wife, the former Ellen Eisenbeiss, Virginia Beach,
  Va.; daughter Pamela L. and husband, John E. Maurer, Jennerstown;
  grandchildren Adam and Benjamin Krause and Ryan Maurer; brother David
  and wife Barbara, Ferrellton; sister Rita and husband Bill Varney,
  Fredericksburg, Va.; and sisters-in-law Patricia Krause, Davidsville,
  and Carol Mumma and husband Ralph, State College.  Member of Hopewell
  United Methodist Church, Hollsopple RD, Somerset  Lodge 358 F&AM,
  Somerset County Shrine Club, Jaffa Temple and Valley Consistory, both
  of Altoona.  A 1957 graduate of the former J.B.J. Joint High School,
  Boswell.  Formerly owned and operated Krause's Fruit Market and
  Krause's Soft Freeze.  Owner/operator of Krause's Garage,
  Jennerstown, for the past 20 years.  Friends will be received front 2
  to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Hoffman Funeral Home Main, Street,
  Boswell.  Service 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hopewell Church, the Rev.
  Michael A. Dunlap officiating.  Interment in church cemetery.  No
  viewing at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to
  the Hopewell Church, 151 Hopewell Rd., Hollsopple, Pa., 15935.
