All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ ________________________________________________ JOSEPH KREIGLINE Joseph Kreigline, age 80, a native of Meyersdale, died on Monday at the family home in Hyndman, where he located after removing from Meyersdale. He was a son of the late Andrew and Catherine Kreigline, pioneer residents of this section. In 1879 Mr. Kreigline was united in marriage with Miss Sara Kennell, who with three children, Paul Kreigline, of Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Margaret Holler and Arthur Kreigline, both of Hyndman, survive. A sister, Mrs. Kate Shindler, resides in Hooversville. When quite young Mr. Kreigline entered the employ of the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad, and in time became an engineer, which position he held up until his retirement some years ago. He was a devoted member of SS. Philip and James' Catholic Church, Meyersdale, and also held membership in the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. During his long term of service with the railroad company he was found loyal and faithful in every trust reposed in him as well as competent and dependable in all the problems and details entering into the proper functioning of the exacting position he held. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow (Friday) morning at 9 o'clock in SS. Philip and James' Church, Meyersdale, the pastor, Rev. Father Howard T. Miller, officiating. Interment in SS. Philip and James' Cemetery under the direction of the Zeigler Funeral Home. Meyersdale Republican, January 30, 1941
