  ELLIS KRETCHMAN
  
    Ellis Kretchman, 88, of Meyersdale RD 1, died Oct. 13, 1983,
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.
    He was born June 18, 1896, in Elk Lick Township, a son of the late
  Jeremiah and Minnie (Smalley) Kretchman.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Eva R. Engle, in
  1982.  He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Lindeman of
  Boalsburg; two sons: Carl D. Kretchman and Donald R. Kretchman, both
  of Meyersdale RD 1; a sister, Mrs. Mae Burkholder, Meyersdale; and a
  brother, Alvin Kretchman, Johnstown RD; also five grandchildren.
    He was a retired farmer and member of St. John's Lutheran Church of
  Salisbury.
    Friends were received at the Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, where
  funeral services were held with the Rev. David E. Fetter
  officiating.  Interment, St. Paul Cemetery.
