She was born May 12, 1931, in Fort Hill, the daughter of the late Milton and Olive (King) Hollada. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Austin, son of Victor and Kim; four brothers: Edgar, Charles, Don and Ken Hollada; three sisters: Beulah Shumaker Showalter, Lola Showalter and Leota Hollada. She is survived by her husband, Carl D. Kretchman; one son, Keith, married to Melissa Swauger, Mechanicsburg; two daughters: Kathy, married to Larry Troutman, Hyndman; Kim, married to Victor Yoder, Huntersville, NC; two brothers: Walter Hollada, Norwalk, CA; Robert Hollada, Fort Hill; two grandchildren: Shawn, son of Kathy and Larry; and Allison, daughter of Victor and Kim. Mrs. Kretchman was a member of St. Paul Wilhelm Church, St. Paul, the ladies group and the Salisbury Fireman's Auxiliary. She was a school bus driver for Kretchman Transportation for 30 years. She also was employed with the Salisbury Undergarment Factory. Friends were received at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, MD on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services were conducted in St. Paul Wilhelm Church on Saturday, February 24, 2007 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Tommy Holliday officiating. Interment was in St. Paul Wilhelm Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Alzheimer's Association.
