(Mihalcik) 07/11/06 Daily American Helen E. (Mihalcik) Krise, 82, Quemahoning Towers, Windber, passed away July 9, 2006. Born Dec. 25, 1923 in Windber, a daughter of Joseph and Sarah (Bundy) Mihalcik. Preceded in death by parents, husband, Russell M. Krise; brothers; Joseph, William and Robert Mihalcik; sister, Dorothy Domonkos. Survived by these children; William M. Krise and wife, Jane, Huntingdon, and Nancy L., wife of Michael Nash, Tampa, Fla.; grandchildren; Erica Hahn and Kristin, wife of Jason Leonard, both of Tampa, Fla. A sister to Virginia, wife of the late Edward Yocca, Windber; Alice, wife of the late Louis Brunskole, Buffalo, N.Y.; and sister-in-law, Bernice Mihalcik, N.Y. Retired employee of Bestform Foundations, Windber with nearly 30 years service. Member of I.L.G.W.U (unite). Helen was a very active volunteer at the Quemahoning Towers where she would have flowers sent for people in the Towers; she would call bingo and was in charge of entertainment for birthday parties. Member of the former Holy Child Jesus Catholic Church, Windber and current member of SS Cyril and Methodeus Catholic Church, Windber where funeral Mass will be celebrated, 10 a.m. Thursday with Rev. Matthew Misurda, cele- brator. Committal Corpus Christi Cemetery, Dunlo. Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the William Kisiel Funeral Home, Windber, where vigil for the deceased will be held.
