Kritschgau, 80, of Triple Creek Road, Champion, passed on Sept. 4. 2001 at, Somerset Hospital. Born Dec. 1, 1920 in Scottdale. Son of the late John and Bessie (Peck) Kritschgau. Preceded in death by parents and a brother, Arthur. Survived by his wife of 53 years, Betty (Pritts) Kritschgau, son Howard, married to Candice, and daughter Linda Kristschgau, both of Dillsburg, and son Mark Kritschgau of Rockwood. Also survived by grandchildren Ryan, Amber, Seth, and Megan Kritschgau. He was a retired employee of the Pa. Dept. of Environmental Resources with 27 years of service and a veteran of the U.S. Army in World War II. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Rev. Thomas Singo officiating.
