  KRONAU
  
  Earle W. Kronau, 81, of Friedens, died July 15, 1999, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born April 25, 1918, in Baltimore, Md.  Son of Earl W. and
  Mildred (Moberly) Kronau.  Preceded in death by parents and sister,
  Eileen Dorsa.  Survived by wife of 50 years, the former Marie E.
  Lazar, and these children: Jeannine Newton, Joppatowne, Md.; Susan
  Opdyke, Kingsville, Md.; Regina Shea, Towson, Md.; Thomas, New
  Market, Md., and Kathleen Taylor, Somerset; 8 grandchildren, 4
  great-grandchildren.  Retired from State of Maryland as systems
  analyst.  World War II Army Air Corps veteran.  Member of VFW,
  American Legion and Masons.  Services will be held at Johnson Funeral
  Home, Baltimore, Md.  Local arrangements by Deaner Funeral Home,
  Stoystown.
