Born Oct. 9, 1916 in Jenners, daughter of Charles and Barbara (Suhar) Phillips. Preceded in death by parents, husband Ted J. Aug. 11, 1979, twin great-grand daughters, sisters Mary Yuchnik, Elizabeth Stetz, and Margaret Grebeck, and brother Michael "PeePee" Phillips. Survived by children, Barbara, wife of Richard Froehlich, Johnstown; John, married to Terry Brown, Grand Ledge, Mich.; Patricia, wife of Andrew Marcinko, Hollsopple; Julianna widow of James Klebonis, Long Island, N.Y., and George, married to Anita Walat, Jerome. Also 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, one step-great-grandson, sisters, Anne Kertis and Helen Rigo, both of Johnstown, and Alice Blucas, Boswell. Sisters-in-law Stella Kontzi and Josephine Krupa, both of Jerome, and Helen Garber, Baltimore, Md. Numerous nieces and nephews and loving caregiver Rozella West. Life-long member of SS. Peter and Paul's Byzantine Catholic Church, Jerome, and Jerome Nest 556 Polish Falcons of America. Retired employee of the former Dorfman and Hoffman Garment Factory. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where Panachida will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Christian burial with Divine Liturgy at 10 a.m. Thursday at SS. Peter and Paul's Church, Rev. Monsignor Raymond Balta celebrant. Interment, Church Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Ave., Windber, Pa. 15963.
