Krupper Sr., 83, of High Street, Jenners went home to be with his Lord on Aug. 7, 1999 at home with his loved ones. Born Nov. 8, 1915 in Jenners, son of Paul and Madeline (Stevens) Krupper. Preceded in death by parents; wife, the former Audrey Sides, Sept. 18, 1980, brothers, Peter, Paul, and John and sisters Madeline Vancophsky and Elizabeth Krupper. Survived by children, Joseph A. Jr., married to the former Viola M. Brant, Acosta, Gloria J., wife of Vernon D. "Buck" Whipkey, Boswell, Reba G., wife of Larry W. Kreger Friedens, Charles A., at home, and Elaine, wife of Robert M. Weimer Friedens; grandchildren Cynthia E. Machi, Penny J. Ferre, Robert B. Thomas, Rhonda K. Smith Charles Joseph Krupper, Kristi L. Fisher, Benjamin Krupper, Amy N. Weimer, and James J. and Nicholas T. Kreger and great-grandchildren Barret, Brittany, Breann, Brandon, and Braxton Ferre, Nicholas, Lauren, and Alexus Machi, Mason Krupper, and Ashley, Matthew Mike and Jessica Smith. Brother of Margaret Sawzik, Somerset; Steven, Jenners; Patrick, married to the former Helen Thomas, Jenners; and Velma Ken of Wilbur. Also survived by numerous niece and nephews. Construction worker for labor Union 1040, Pittsburgh for many years. Security guard to the former Thought Products Somerset and the Boswell Lumber Company. Army veteran of World, War II, having received several honorable citations. Friend received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where service will be held at noon, Tuesday. The Rev. C.J. Ickes officiating. Interment Mt.
