  KUBIS
  
  Margaret R. Kubis, 78, Confluence RD 3, died March 20, 1995, at her
  home.  Born March 4, 1917, a daughter of the late Henry and Margaret
  (Lieter) Cassie.  Preceded in death by her husband, Steve J.; a
  daughter, Rosemary Fike, and stepmother, Margaret (Pergetti)
  Cassie.  Survived by two grandchildren: Neil Fike and Lee Ann Fike,
  both of Confluence; a stepsister, Virgina Carik, Pittsburgh, and a
  stepbrother, John Cassie, Los Gatos, Calif.  Member of St. Peter's
  Roman Catholic Church of Somerset.  Owned and operated Steve's
  Restaurant in Lower Turkeyfoot Township for 50 years.  Friends will
  be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Humbert Funeral Home in
  Confluence, where wake service will be held at 3 p.m.  Mass of
  Christian Burial at St. Peter's Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Thursday,
  with Msgr. Samuel Tomaselli as celebrant.  Interment, Somerset County
  Memorial Park.
