Born Feb. 14, 1910 in Windber, a son of Norman Richard and Ivy Edna (Bruner) Kuhlman. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother Lloyd W. Kuhlman. Survived by wife, the former Jennie Micklavish to whom he was married 71 years; children: Mrs. Luis (Joan) Gonzalez of Johnstown; Harold E. Kuhlman Jr. and wife Elke of Seattle, Wash.; William H. Kuhlman and wife Shirley of Somerset; seven grandchildren: Dr. Luis Gonzalez Jr. and wife Stephanie of Johnstown; Mrs. Carter (Jo Ellen) Flatt of Hartford, Conn.; Mrs. Kenneth (Ann) Gibson of Johnstown; Miss Daphne Kuhlman of Seattle, Wash.; Mrs. Karen Black of Crafton; Roger L. Kuhlman and wife Deborah of Morrestown, N.J.; Steven M. Kuhlman of Glenshaw and 12 great-grandchildren. Brother of Mrs. John Paul (Maude) Gallagher of Johnstown. Member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church where he was on church council for many terms, life member of Bakersville Fire Department. He was a self-employed trucker from 1930 - 1960; owned Kuhlman's Texaco Station in Bakersville from 1948 - 1960. A Jefferson Township Supervisor for 30 years and Road Foreman for 16 years prior to retirement in 1976. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home where service will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Elisa A. Osman officiating. Interment Somerset County Memorial Park. Contributions may be sent to Mt.
