    Robert S. Kuhlman, 89, Davidsville, formerly of Berlin, died June 11, 2008, at Memorial
  Medical  Center. Born March 2, 1919, in Sayre a son of  Harry S. and Ada (Trainer)
  Kuhlman. Preceded in death by his parents; and his wife of 64 years,  Ruth Elizabeth
  "Kit" Kuhlman. Survived by  daughter, Carolyn Marie, married to William Fitzpatrick,
  Boothwyn; and a son,  Robert S. Jr., married to Carol Ashby, Stowe;  grandchildren,
  William Scott and Elizabeth Jeannette Fitzpatrick, Nathan M. Ashby-Kuhlman  and Colin
  Ashby; twin brother of H. Stanley  Kuhlman, married to the former Betty Cooper,
  Johnstown. Graduate of Sharptown, Md., High School. Attended Gettysburg College and the 
  University of Maryland. Graduate of Eckels School of Embalming, Philadelphia. Former 
  owner of Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home,  Berlin, and worked at Deaner Funeral Home,
  Berlin. Member of Holy Trinity Evangelical  Lutheran Church, Berlin, and Meyersdale
  Lodge  554 F&AM, Berlin Lions Club where he was a  longtime treasurer and Melvin Jones
  Fellow,  Berlin Fire Co., Somerset County and PA Funeral Directors Associations. Family
  will receive friends from 2 p.m. until time of  service at 4 p.m. Saturday at Deaner
  Funeral Home, Berlin. The Rev. Wes Yoder  officiating. Interment at the convenience  of
  the family. Memorial contributions may  be given to the American Heart Association,  400
  Luray Ave., Johnstown, PA 15904 or to  the Alzheimer's Association, 100 West Station
  Square Drive, the Landmark Building, Suite 500, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
