    Ruth Elizabeth "Kit" Kuhlman, 86, Davidsville, formerly of Berlin, died March 23,
  2008, at Laurel View Village. Born May 4, 1921, in Coatesville, a daughter of J. Irvie
  Sr. and Emma Anderson (MacIlheny) Hoffman.  Preceded in death by parents; sisters, 
  Catherine Hoffman and Gladys H. Breunninger; and brother, Donald M. Hoffman. Survived by
  her husband of 64 years, Robert S. Kuhlman Sr.; daughter, Carolyn Marie, married to
  William Fitzpatrick, Boothwyn; son, Robert S. Jr., married to Carol Ashby, Norristown;
  grandchildren, William Scott and Elizabeth Jeannette Fitzpatrick, Nathan M. Ashby-Kuhlman
  and Colin Ashby. Sister of J. Irvie Hoffman Jr., Downingtown; and Charlotte H. Roosevelt,
  Wilmington, Del. A graduate of Coatesville High School and Mount Holyoke College in 1943.
  Member of Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Berlin, and past president and member
  of Pius Spring Woman's  Club, Berlin. She enjoyed playing bridge with her friends in
  Berlin.  Family will receive friends from 11a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. 
  Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. The Rev. Dr. John Harmon and the Rev. Ralph
  Landis officiating. Interment at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions
  may be given to Alzheimer's Association, 100 West Station Square Drive, The Landmarks
  Building, Suite 500, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
