He was born April 24, 1953, in Altoona, the son of Wilbur D. "Jack" and Shirley M. (Brown) Kuhn. He married Jewell Ann Sargent, Apr. 29, 1998, in Westmont. He was employed as a sales manager for Silo Electronics Co. in Seattle, Wash. He was a 1971 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Levittown, and a graduate of the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, where he earned a bachelor of fine arts and communications degree. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Westmont. He enjoyed skiing, tennis, walking his Labrador Retriever "Britney," sailing, cooking and seasonal sporting events. He is survived by his wife, formerly of Bellwood; a daughter, Jana C. Sargent at home. His parents of Juniata, Altoona, formerly of Levittown; a sister, Karen L. Neff of Langhorne; brother, Paul S., Salt Lake City, Utah, and a brother, John Perry of Levittown; his father and mother-in-law, Jack and Joan Sargent, Bellwood; sister-in-law, Regina Kuhn; sister-in-law, Kelly Kuhn and brother-in-law, Gary Neff; nieces: Laura Neff and Sunny Kuhn, and nephew, Joshua Neff, brother-in-laws: J. Eric Sargent, Pollock Pines, Calif., and Jason Sargent, Cincinnati, Ohio. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also survived by his beloved Labrador Retriever "Britney." He was an accomplished guitarist and stage performer, with a passion for drama and the arts. He loved reading and shared his knowledge and sense of humor openly with others. He spent the last seven years of his life serving as caregiver and domestic engineer for his beloved grandmother, Helen Kuhn, at his own home, the Kuhn/Sargent household in Johnstown. Friends will be received from 6-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, 618 Martin St., Bellwood. Funeral services for Robert Blake Kuhn, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 3, 1999, at the Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Bellwood, by the Rev. David Tholstrup. Interment at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood. In lieu of flowers, donations will be graciously accepted for the educational trusts established for Bob's daughter, Jana C. Sargent. Immediately following the graveside services, a continuation of the wake service will take place with refreshments and fellowship at Halbritter Hollow, Geeseytown.
