Kuntz, 64, 93 Duncan Way, Johnstown, died May 8, 1977, at Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born Sept. 7, 1912, in Meyersdale, she was a daughter of Ralph H. and Susan (Walker) Moser. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Joseph E., whom she married Sept. 2, 1950. She was a sister of Carrie E., wife of Earl Rodamer, Springs; Bernice, wife of Mahlon R. Hoover, Portage; Dorothy H., wife of Norman H. Gnagey, Meyersdale RD 1; William W., married to the former Roberta A. Koontz, and Harry W., husband of Nancy Phennicie, both of Meyersdale; also several nieces and nephews. She was a member of First Lutheran Church, church choir and All Friends Sunday School Class. She was a retired school teacher; graduate of Juniata College, Huntingdon, Class of 1934; taught school for 40 years in Elk Lick Township, Somerset County, Forest Hills, at Mine 42 and Elton, and in the Johnstown city schools before retiring in June 1976 from the Cypress Avenue School. She was also a member of auxiliary to Lodge 61, Knights Templar; Lady Lions of Johnstown Lions Club, Delta Kappa Gamma-Beta Epsilon Chapter, Teachers Honorary Society; and Sunnehanna Country Club. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the PickingTreece-Bennett Mortuary with Rev. Dr. Robert G. Swanson and Rev. Dr. Walden M. Holl, pastor-emeritus, officiating.
