  BLANCHE KURTZ
  
    Blanche Kurtz, 77, of Somerset RD 1, died Dec. 23, 1983, at
  Somerset Community Hospital.
    She was born April 20, 1906, in Freedom, daughter of the late
  Walter Addison and Nancy Isabelle (Copper) Foy.
    She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Jesse
  Vanderbilt; and second husband, Charles B. Kurtz.
    She is survived by these children: Jesse Vanderbilt of Berlin; Mrs.
  Bernard (Laura) Fickes, Osterburg; Mrs. Delores Snyder, Friedens RD 2;
  Charles Kurtz, Boswell; Ralph Kurtz, Somerset RD 1; Mrs. Jack (Pearl)
  Wilt, Everett; 16 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.  She was a
  sister of Albert, of Ligonier; and Mrs. Hattie Miller, Berlin.
    Friends were received at Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where
  services were conducted with the Rev. Gerald Deffenbaugh.  Interment,
  Mizpah Cemetery.
