DANIEL KURTZ

  Funeral services were held for Daniel Kurtz at his home Monday afternoon at 
2:30 o'clock, Rev. J. V. Guss officiating.  Mr. Kurtz had been unable to work 
for several years, due to a heart ailment.
  He was born in Humbert, Dec. 18, 1913, a son of the late Robert and Lucy 
(Hall) Kurtz.  Surviving are his wife, Mildred, of California; his mother, Lucy 
Kurtz, and seven sisters: Anna Ruth Hughes, Phoenix, Ariz.; Jean Wilson, 
Lynchburg, Va.; Verna Jane McClain Shunk and Mary Lane, here, and Faye, New 
York; and by one brother, Harry, of Hudson, N.Y.
  Interment was made in the Addison Cemetery, under the direction of Samuel 
Black, Confluence mortician.
