  Mary Lane Kurtz, 78, Confluence, died Jan. 19, 2005, in Somerset Hospital. Born
  April 21, 1926, in Addison, a daughter of the late George and Lucy (Hall) Kurtz.
  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Daniel and
  Harry Kurtz and sisters Verna VanSickel-Brown, Jean Wilson, Faye Voss, Lucille
  Shunk, Jo McLean and Anna Ruth Hughes. She is survived by a nephew John Hughes,
  Herndon, Va. and nieces Pamela Hughes, Bloomfield Hills, Mich.; Kathy Ruck,
  Seaside, Calif.; and Jill McLean-Harrington, Washington, D.C. There will be no
  viewing or visitation. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of
  the family. Interment in Addison Cemetery. Arrangements our with Humbert
  Funeral Home, Confluence.
