  KURTZ
  
    Thelma A. Kurtz, 76, of Confluence, died Oct. 15, 1977 in Uniontown
  Hospital.  Born Oct. 5, 1901, in Swissvale, a daughter of the late
  Louis and Mary Alice (Frantz) Brackemeyer.  Preceded in death by her
  husband, Lawrence.  Survived by three children: Mrs. Barbara Tussing
  of Pittsburgh; Mrs. Blanche Hidreth of Ithaca, N.Y., and Mrs. Martha
  Ringer of Santa Barbara, Calif.; and nine grandchildren.  Member of
  the Trinity Lutheran Church of Confluence.  Friends are being
  received at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where services will
  be held today at 3 p.m. with the Rev. McCurtis Allison officiating. 
  Interment, Baptist Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may
  be made to the heart fund.
