ZETTA SHOW KURTZ

  Mrs. Harvey Kurtz, whose death was briefly mentioned in last week's paper, 
passed peacefully away, July 1st, at the ripe age of 81 years, 3 months and 16 
days.
  Christened Zetta Show, she was born in Confluence, March 15, 1865, a daughter 
of the late Jedi and Elizabeth (Reiber) Show.
  She was the second of four children.  A brother, Luther, passed away May 29, 
1943, and a sister, Mary (Show) Bird, died Sept. 28, 1943.
  She was married to Harvey Kurtz, a well known merchant of Confluence, November 
9, 1905.
  Surviving are her husband and one sister, Mrs. Grace Trombly, and two step-
sons, Robert and Lawrence Kurtz.  She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, 
Confluence, since childhood.  Funeral services were conducted by her pastor, 
Rev. Jerome V. Guss, at the Humbert Funeral Home, followed by interment in the 
Baptist cemetery.
