Born Nov. 16, 1924, in Windber, son of John and Mary (Humanik) Tkach. Preceded in death by parents; first wife, Oleda Kutch; second wife, Leah Kutch; and sister, Helen Robatin. Survived by brothers, Andrew Kutch, Uniontown, Paul Katch and wife, Mary, Windber; sister, Ann, wife of John Miller, Georgia; also several stepchildren; brotherin- law, George Robatin, Windber, and numerous nieces and nephews. U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, seaman first class, serving on the USS Orizaba. A retired employee of Bethlehem Steel, Johnstown, Gautier division. Life member of Johnstown VFW Post 155. Member of the Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship Church. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the William Kisiel Funeral Home, Graham Avenue and Eleventh Street, Windber, where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Gary Tustin officiating. Interment at Richland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations my be made to the Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship Church in George's memory.
