The Somerset herald: (Somerset, Pa.) 1870-1936: June 09, 1875
On the 30th of May 1875, at his home near Stoystown, Mr. Henry Lohr, in the 69th
year of his age. Mr. Lohr was a member of the Church of United Brethren for upwards
of thirty-two years and died in its communion. With him hardships were absorbed in
the superior consideration of doing good. He is spoken of by all as a man of
exemplary piety. A funeral discourse was preached in the Lutheran Church of
Stoystown by Rev. Wm. Beighel.
