The Somerset herald. (Somerset, Pa.) December 15, 1880
Died, David Lohr, at his late residence in Jefferson township, on Nov. 22, aged 74
years, 4 months and 18 days. The deceased was a highly respected citizen in the
community in which he lived. He was a prominent member of the Lutheran Church, and a
liberal supporter of every good cause. About two and one-half years ago he had a
stroke of palsy, which greatly affected his throat, so that it was only with great
difficulty that he was able either to eat or speak...
