Somerset Daily American
Louise Lytle, 80, Confluence, died July 23, 2010, in Conemaugh Valley Memorial 
Hospital, Johnstown. She was born Sept. 23, 1929, in Confluence, a daughter of 
Walter and Martha (Fisher) Bower. Her parents and husband, Ronald E. Lytle, 
preceded her in death. She is survived by daughters: Patricia Lytle and husband 
Ron, Confluence, and Susan Snyder, McKinney, Texas; and sons: Ronald E. Lytle 
Jr., Confluence, and Douglas Lytle and wife Susan, also of Confluence; 12 
grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and sisters: Margaret Minnick, Confluence 
and Linda Hay, Frederick, Md. Louise graduated from Confluence High School in 
1947 and worked for Dr. E.M. Price of Confluence for 15 years. She was a 
lifelong member of the Confluence United Methodist Church, Turkeyfoot Valley 
Historical Society and the Statue of Liberty Foundation. She was also a member 
of the Great Crossings Chapter of the D.A.R. Friends will be received from 7 to 
9 p.m. Saturday and 11 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Humbert Funeral 
Home in Confluence, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday with 
the Rev. Dr. J.W. Koe officiating. Interment in Jersey Cemetery. Family suggests 
memorial contributions to the Confluence Volunteer Fire Department or the 
Confluence United Methodist Church.
